NEAFL Captain Matt Payne is the latest Hornet to join the 100 Club notching up his 100th game in the Brown and Gold colours.
Payne came to the Hornets in 2012 and settled in straight winning his first Carl Herbert Medal (Aspley Best and Fairest) that year. After spending a year playing back home in Victoria in 2013, Payne returned to the club in 2014 and was an integral part in the 2014 Premiership win against the Sydney Swans.
During his 100 games at the club he has won 4 Carl Herbert Medals and 2 League MVP awards.
He was named Co-Captain of the NEAFL side in 2017 alongside Aspley Junior Ben Warren.
At the ripe age of 32 Payne continues to be one of the competitions elite players and we hope he still has another couple of years left in the Brown and Gold.
