The Aspley Hornets Australian Football and Sporting Club has for a long time supported Australian rules footballers in the northern suburbs of Brisbane. From humble beginnings as a 5-team junior club operating in a small hall to the award winning multi-million-dollar business that the club is now. The growth and success of the club has been built on the two-way support between the licensed club’s willingness to support the local community and the local community supporting it back.

In recent years the football club with the support of the licensed club has worked extremely hard to create a football program that allows all boys and girls a place to play football no matter what their skill level or ability. We can now proudly say that we have achieved this goal. We are the only club in Queensland who can offer both boys and girls the opportunity to play football from the age of 6 years old through to the highest level of competition available outside of the professional AFL & AFLW.
